and solar jobs accessible to low-income communities and communities of color.

As the nation’s largest nonprofit solar installer, GRID Alternatives develops and implements solar projects that serve low-income households and communities. Through a unique, people-first model, GRID puts money back into families’ pockets, reducing the energy cost burden for housing providers, and jump-starting solar careers. They partner with affordable housing organizations, job training groups, government agencies, municipalities, utilities and local communities to make solar a win for everyone.
Designed by Donald Ross in 1928, and reconstructed by Richard Mandell in 2016, its bent grass greens and fairways give way to stunning views of downtown Asheville and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. This vertical track proves a formidable test with several uphill and downhill shots for golfers of all abilities to master.
